IMAGING DATA
Optical train: AP130 EDF GT + AP 0.75x focal reducer
Mount: Losmandy G11
Guiding: unguided
Camera: Canon 1000D (modded and peltier cooled)
Frames: 8 lights, 2 min. ea. @iso1600, calibrated with 30 darks/bias/flats
Processing: PixInsight 1.8 using a mixed technique to separate comet from stars. Background stars come from a three 2-min sub, while the comet is the result of stacking all 8 subs by registering it while statistically rejecting the shifting stars.
